Facebook isn’t an easy tool for nonprofit organizations to use — especially with the decreasing reach of posts on Facebook — but a new feature released by the biggest social network this week makes it easier for them to solicit and collect donations through their Facebook business pages.
Nonprofit organizations can now add a ‘Donate’ call to action button to their Facebook pages (allowing a link to PayPal and similar services).
It’s a simple three-step process:
1. Click the call to action button to the left of the Like button at the bottom right of your Facebook cover photo.
2. Click on the drop down arrow.
3. Select ‘Donate Now.’
